No: Google vs Microsoft

The interesting message behind the Google Mobile phone, were comments that the phone’s capabiltiles would target a mass market, one that is not necessarily using computers.

Can this be their effort to take local.google.com and move forward with technology voice integration like Microsoft’s recent acquisition of TellMe? If so, google will name their TellMe like platform - Shortly.

Watch the 'search engine' change telcom directory services and advertising.

Here's a thought and a bet,  my money is that Google is about to leverage their strengths (their strength in generating profit by creating a self fulfilled advertising brokerage service using the internet search engine as a vehicle ) into using mobile phones (clear growth as compared to land lines) as the device to a Google powered , advertising supported directory assistance model.

Think about what Google provides marketers on a Global basis, but replicate it in every local market using a mobile phone.

Introducing you and the world to Google2.0!

Use the "|" character to create a "piped link," e.g., "[[w:public transport|public transportation]]" displays as "public transportation."
