Additional factor
I've been carrying a Siemens SX66 (HTC Blue Angel) for a couple of years now, and as the iPhone features were ticked off, I was thinking that my now venerable phone didn't compare too badly. To me it has the best of both worlds - a sliding keypad and a large screen that can also be used as a keypad. I did have to agree with Steve Jobs about losing a stylus. At any rate, I think one factor that's been missing from the phone debate is that this device will be running Mac OS X.
