IPHONE the tomorrow in the U.S. but yesterday in Europe and Asia

Before I begin let me just say this is the SECOND time i tried posting the comment and i had to retype it because your form didn't save my comments when i mistyped the verification code as it was difficult to read or forgot to add "http" to the homepage field. So you might want to look into tweaking your form.

In regards to the comments about the Iphone peeling away the hype the one thing they did right was the design. Some companies mention going along the same path but those companies were scratching their heads while Jobs actually DID something (ie the touch screen). As far as the technologies go the states has always been BEHIND the curve when it came to phone features so though this is new in the states it's not so new in Europe and Asia.

As far as the pixel war with the camera phone goes ie 2meg vs 3 meg who cares. It's primary function is as a PHONE. People use those cameras for quick impromptu shots at clubs or something its not going to be that much of a stickler. If people want to take really good photos they use a CAMERA.

The questions I think need to be answered on euro side is will this be 3G compatible, when is the next version of iphonen coming out and why only 8 gigs?!! There are ipods the same size or smaller with more storage capacity. I use my ipod for everything. film, movies, mp3s, photos, data storage and if i was going to consider dropping a wad of cash for an iphone the storage capacity would have to be the same. If I move on to a newer piece of technology it has to be for a good reason because I don't plan on moving again any time soon. I don't need bleeding edge technology. I just need technology that works when and how it's supposed to And as much as I think the design is very cool for the time being I'll just carry my ipod AND a phone.

If version 2.0 of the Iphone is 3G and has a storage of 60 gigs then I'll be willing to buy that.
